- offering certified sustainable trade fair catering – with fair trade products, regional ingredients, plant-based alternatives, certified fish and a clear focus on waste prevention
- ensuring that all legal sustainability requirements are met
With its sustainability flat rate, Leipziger Messe is aligning itself with the industry standard in the German trade fair industry and, together with exhibitors, is sending a clear signal for responsible and future-oriented business practices.

What is included?
- Disposal of waste in normal household quantities of up to 100 litres
- Separation and recycling: ensuring waste is disposed of correctly, i.e. through staff assistance at the disposal site
- Collaboration with innovative partners to reduce waste quantities and maximise recycling
- Travel to and from the exhibition grounds by public transport is free of charge for all exhibitors and visitors during the event (fare zone 110)
Not included are stand construction materials from assembly and dismantling, hazardous waste or large quantities of packaging exceeding 100 litres – if required, you can conveniently order disposal via the Online Service Centre.
