Arrival & Parking

Leipziger Messegelände aus der Vogelperspektive

Arrival and Parking

Leipziger Messe can be reached quickly and easily by any means of transport – car, train, bus, bike or plane. And in Leipzig, all roads lead to the trade fair.

Arriving by local and long-distance transport

The trade fair city of Leipzig is very well connected to long-distance public transport and also boasts a well-developed local public transport network. At the central train station, long-distance travellers can easily change to the suburban train (S-Bahn), bus or tram towards the trade fair grounds.

You can get directly to the exhibition centre by bus and tram (‘Messegelände’ tram stop). You can also reach us by regional train (RB) or S-Bahn. “Leipzig Messe” is the nearest station.

Provided this is expressly stated on the respective ticket, our admission tickets entitle you to free return travel to and from the event venue on the day of your visit using local public transport operated by MDV (Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund) in tariff zone 110.

Arrival by Bicycle

If you are cycling from the city centre, it takes about 25 minutes to cover the approximately 8 kilometre journey at a moderate pace. There are plenty of bicycle parking spaces available.

Even if you don’t have your own bicycle, you can easily reach the exhibition grounds with a rental bicycle. (Station near the tram stop)

In front of the administration building, there is also a charging station for e-bikes with lockable compartments for the batteries and bicycle accessories. The compartments contain a 230-volt socket for connecting the charger.

Arrival by Car

Be sure to take the designated motorway exit A14 Leipzig Messegelände (not Leipzig Mitte) – this will take you directly to our car parks and avoid traffic jams. From Bundesstraße 2, take the “Messegelände” exit to reach your destination.

Our dynamic parking guidance system will help you find a parking space, quickly directing you to available visitor parking spaces.

Car park P2 provides parking spaces for buses.
