Ketosol 100 mg/ml is a solution for injection for cattle, pigs, and horses containing the active ingredient ketoprofen.
Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory veterinary medicine. It is used to treat conditions associated with inflammation, pain, and fever.
In cattle, these are primarily respiratory tract infections, mastitis, or diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
The main indication in pigs is postpartum dysgalactia syndrome (PPDS) (mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome, MMA) and respiratory tract infections.
In horses, ketoprofen is used for diseases of the musculoskeletal system that are accompanied by acute pain and inflammation.
