When the production of the well-known Rüsch feeding tubes was discontinued in 2018 due to the much stricter regulations in the human sector, a gap also arose in the veterinary market. Now, within its well-known Vet's Choice® range, Dispovet offers a new assortment of feeding tubes that fully meet all veterinary requirements.
The 50-centimeter-long feeding tubes are made of strong yet flexible transparent PVC and feature a closed, atraumatic tip with two lateral needle holes. This design allows easy insertion into the esophagus without damaging surrounding structures, while significantly reducing the risk of blockage or vacuum suction. Vet's Choice® tubes have a diameter of 1.7 to 3.3 millimeters and are equipped with a well-sealing Luer connector. The caps come with the familiar color-coding that matches the four available sizes, allowing you to identify the right tube at a glance.
The tubes are individually supplied, sterile packed, and can also be used as urinary catheters.
