vetexpo europe 2026: Europe’s Key Industry Hub for Veterinary Solutions

From 15 to 17 January 2026, vetexpo europe will once again bring the veterinary industry together at the Leipziger Messe. As one of Europe’s most important trade fairs for veterinary medicine, it attracts leading manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from across the continent – creating a unique marketplace for innovation, networking and business development. Around 7,000 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are expected to attend the event.

With more than 200 companies already registered – and over 300 exhibitors expected in total – vetexpo europe offers comprehensive access to the latest products and solutions in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical technology, practice software, laboratory services and more. The event brings together all key players in the field, providing a platform to meet decision-makers, discover trends and strengthen business relationships in one of the most dynamic veterinary markets in Europe. Held alongside the 13th Leipzig Veterinary Congress, the trade fair benefits from high visitor interest and cross-sectoral exchange.

CAREER CORNER 2026: Connecting with Veterinary Professionals

As part of vetexpo europe, the vetjobs24 CAREER CORNER offers exhibitors an additional opportunity to engage with young veterinary professionals and future employees. As Europe’s leading veterinary job fair, it brings together recent graduates, young professionals and experienced veterinarians with employers from clinics, industry, public institutions and veterinary groups.

The programme includes workshops on job applications, re-entry into the profession, leadership and practice development – plus CV checks and informal networking sessions that help attract and connect with the next generation of veterinary professionals.

Congress and Trade Fair: A Strong Synergy

Running in parallel to the trade fair on all three days, the 13th Leipzig Veterinary Congress adds strong visibility and reach to vetexpo europe. With more than 500 lectures, courses and symposia, it offers German-speaking participants from all veterinary fields valuable insights and continuing education. The congress’s largest track focuses on companion animal medicine, tackling current clinical challenges and case-based problem-solving.

International participation is also growing steadily: In 2026, more than 50 international speakers will contribute to the scientific programme. A special highlight will be the return of the International Conference on Equine Reproductive Medicine (ICERM), bringing together leading experts in equine reproduction from around the world.
