Founded in 1959 by John Oliver, Mast remains an independent company built on integrity and customer satisfaction. The name MAST stands for Multichrome Antibiotic Susceptibility Test – a reference to the company’s beginnings with test discs used to determine antibiotic resistance. Since then, the product portfolio has continuously evolved, setting new standards in diagnostics along the way.
The parent company, Mast Group Ltd., is headquartered in Daresbury (UK) and operates state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in Deeside as well as production sites in Bootle.
