Vita

Vibeke Sødring Elbrønd, DVM, Ph.D, Ass. Prof.
graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Copenhagen, and has a PhD in Anatomy and Physiology. She is an Associate Professor in Anatomy at the Veterinary Faculty, Copenhagen University at Department of Veterinary and Animal Science. In 2007 she was certified in Veterinary Chiropractic and since then her research field has focused on biomechanics, functional anatomy, fasciae/myofascia, locomotion system and full body integration. She has been lecturing at several conferences, courses, educations and workshops in this topic. She is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture 2017 and has included Osteopathic based normalization techniques into the curriculum. Besides the University she runs a small praxis where she treats cats, dogs and horses using manual therapies such as fasciae and myofascial release and treatments, chiropractic, indirect releasing methods, laser therapy and acupuncture treatments.
